What is "openclonk"

OpenClonk is a free and open-source 2D action game in which you control clonks, small but witty and nimble humanoid beings. It is mainly about mining, settling and fast-paced melees and features lots of action-rich and tactical gameplay elements. The game can be played both single-player and multiplayer and is cross-platform, playable on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and OS X.

The OpenClonk project is dedicated to a continuous development of the Clonk game series and new features are released regularly. OpenClonk is not just a game, but also a versatile 2D game engine with its own scripting language that allows the creation of mods. The source is available under the ISC license and game content is licensed under CC-BY.
