What is "onearmenia"

ONEArmenia, (sometimes called 1A), is a nonprofit organization which funds charitable and philanthropic projects in Armenia. It is based out of New York City and Yerevan, Armenia. The organization’s focal point is investing, primarily through crowdfunding via Indiegogo, in sustainable projects that develop Armenia’s contemporary culture and technology sectors. It was founded in 2012 by Patrick Sarkissian, an Armenian-American diasporan and CEO of the New York-based branding agency, Sarkissian Mason, as a response to the growing cynicism around donating to charitable causes in Armenia.
