What is "ogmore"

Ogmore is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It is currently held by Chris Elmore who won it in a by-election on 5th May 2016 after Huw Irranca-Davies of the Labour Party resigned on the 24th March 2016 to contest the National Assembly for Wales election, 2016.

Ogmore is a constituency of the National Assembly for Wales. It elects one Assembly Member by the first past the post method of election. It is one of seven constituencies in the South Wales West electoral region, which also elects four additional members, to produce a degree of proportional representation for the region as a whole.
