Oecles

In Greek mythology, Oecles or Oecleus or (Οἰκλεύς) was an Argive king, father of Amphiaraus, son of Mantius or Antiphates and grandson of Melampus.

He helped Heracles fight Laomedon and/or the sea monster attacking Troy and died in the battle. Others, however, report that he was buried in Arcadia.
