Ocypodian

Ocypodian \O`cy*po"di*an\, n. [Gr. 'wky`s swift + poy`s, podo`s, foot.] (Zo["o]l.) One of a tribe of crabs which live in holes in the sand along the seashore, and run very rapidly, -- whence the name.
