Octocerata \Oc`to*cer"a*ta\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. 'oktw` eight + ?, a horn.] (Zo["o]l.) A suborder of Cephalopoda including Octopus, Argonauta, and allied genera, having eight arms around the head; -- called also Octopoda.
