What is "nudzice"

Nudzice, Nudycy – medieval Slavic tribe inhabiting the basin of the river Saale, a tributary of the Elbe. Neighbors included other small Slavic tribes: Chudzice, Nieletycy, Koledzice, Żyrmunty, Żytyce. All these tribes in the tenth century came under German influence. It is not always the relations with the German state arranged properly, the area was very anxious and eventually these tribes and their lands were absorbed by the German Empire.
