Nine-bark
Nine-bark \Nine"-bark`\, n. (Bot.) A white-flowered rosaceous shrub ( Neillia opulifolia, or Spir[ae]a opulifolia), common in the Northern United States. The bark separates into many thin layers, whence the name.
