Neural Networks (journal)

Neural Networks is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal and an official journal of the International Neural Network Society, European Neural Network Society, and Japanese Neural Network Society. It was established in 1988 and is published by Elsevier. The journal covers all aspects of research on artificial neural networks. The founding editor-in-chief was Stephen Grossberg ( Boston University), the current editors-in-chief are DeLiang Wang ( Ohio State University) and Kenji Doya ( Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology). The journal is abstracted and indexed in Scopus and the Science Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2012 impact factor of 1.927.

Usage examples of "neural networks".

Shaper: A programming language for building elaborate structures, such as conscious neural networks, by means of iterative methods abstracted from biological processes.

Aenea's last shared moments had been more than words and torture and pain and horror -- I had sensed her thoughts, shared her understanding of the Core's motives, of the true parasitism of the cruciform, of the cynical use of human death to tweak their neural networks, of Lourdusamy's lust for power and Mustafa's confusion and Albedo's absolute inhumanity .

The natural sister built models (called neural networks) out of mathematically purified neurones.

Currently, simple models of neural networks can perform interestingly complex computations.

Indeed, an extensive digital software seems at work within the most diverse regimes of matter: we find the same nonlinear equations, fractal patterns, and strange attractors regulating variations in the weather, disturbances of cardiac rhythms, distributions of charge in neural networks, fluctuations in the stock market.

Like the patterns contained within neural networks, the variegated webs that made up the brain.

In later organisms like jellyfish these cells developed into simple neural networks capable of coordinating the movements of the entire animal to make possible such revolutionary strategies as directed mobility, with all the attendant advantages.

Until now, I had no idea how the Grail network's operating system worked, since it did not seem to function within any of the rules for even the most sophisticated neural networks.

I believe that I can arrange several of my subordinate neural networks to simulate a single Quirthian computational strand.
