Nereta is a village and centre of the Nereta municipality, Latvia. Nereta had 1,282 residents as of 2006. Nereta has hosted the annual 3x3 Latvian heritage summer camp.1

Nereta (river)
Nereta is a river of Biržai district municipality, Panevėžys County, northern Lithuania and Southern Latvia. It flows for 25 kilometres. It is Latvia-Lithuania border river for 18 km.
It is a tributary of the Nemunėlis.
