Nasirabad is a small town about 10 km from Jalgaon district in the north side of Maharashtra state of India. It was named by the name of 'Nasir Badshah' Most of the population is Leva Patidar (Khandeshi) and are farmers. Main business to earn bread and butter is farming of banana tree, sugar cane. Nasirabad is on National Highway No. 6 (Surat-Kolkata National Highway) and has many warehouses of local products. Nashirabad is in Jalgaon district. At the time of Moughal empires name of Nasirabad was Solnimbhore. The main reason behind this was, Nasirabad had 16 Hanuman temples and 16 main big doors. In the period of Ahilyabai Holkar (31 May 1725 to 13 Aug 1795) she made a temple (1760) in Nasirabad and only one temple in Nasirabad as old as Ganpati temple, but at this moment, this temple is unknown to each and every people in Nasirabad.
