Nakkalapalem is one of the villages in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is 7 km from its Mandel Inkollu and 45 km from its District headquarters Ongole, Prakasham District. There are two near by villages with this name and are named as Pedda Nakkalapalem and Chinna Nakkalapalem (Kothapalem). There are nearly 200 houses with an approx of 2500 population. Parchur is the constituency for this village and is at a distance of 25 km. Dr. Daggubati Venkateswar Rao is the Member of Legislative Assembly for this village.
Most of the people are of casts Kamma (OC, Hindu), Muslims and Christians. There is no bus facility to this village yet and need to walk 2 km to catch the only bus which comes thrice a day. So, the men in this village are in belief of their own transportation. Limited number of shops with daily needs and breakfasts. The roads also not fully formed. Recently constructing 'cc road' up to some extent. The main couple of jobs for the people of this village are Agriculture and harvesting Milk from their own Buffaloes and Cows. They usually harvest Cotton, Chillies, Chickpeas (Chana) and Corn.
