What is "najarpur"

Najarpur (Nepali: नजरपुर) is a village in Rautahat district of Nepal,about 45 mi (or 73 km) South of Kathmandu, the country's capital city. It is widely known by the name 'vegetarian village.' The population of the village is about 500 with about 110 houses. There lies magnificent Hindu temple on the hearth of village. All the villagers are strong supporter of Shree Krishna Pranami Sampradaya and are vegetarians. The village is declared prohibited for smoking, gambling and drinking from local authority. And, all the people of the village are literate and has been declared as 'literate village'.
