Nabk \Nabk\ (n[a^]bk), n. [Ar. nabiqa, nibqa.] (Bot.) The edible berries of the Zizyphys Lotus, a tree of Northern Africa, and Southwestern Europe. [Written also nubk.] See Lotus (b), and Sadr.
n. 1 Either of two thorny shrublike trees, of the genus ''Ziziphus'', from North Africa and the Middle East; (taxlink Ziziphus spina-christi species noshow=1) is supposed to be the plant from which Christ's crown of thorns was made. 2 The edible berry of (taxlink Ziziphus lotus species noshow=1).
