The Mudflats is a predominantly politically liberal American political weblog based in Anchorage, Alaska. It rose to national prominence as an early website to have meaningful background information about Sarah Palin after her nomination for Vice President in August 2008. It was created by Jeanne Devon, a writer for The Huffington Post.
