Moon Landing (music drama)

Moon Landing is a musical with book, lyrics and music by Stephen Edwards. The story, from an original idea and synopsis by Justin Fleming, is based on the American Space Race and the Apollo 11 spaceflight which on July 20, 1969 landed the first humans on the Moon and is seen through the eyes of Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon.

Glenn Carter as Buzz Aldrin led the cast of the original production, as first presented at the Derby Playhouse, UK in October, 2007. In 2008, the play was nominated for a TMA award for "Best Musical Production".

"Moon Landing" is the fourteenth episode of the first season of Modern Family and the fourteenth episode of the series overall. It was originally scheduled to premiere on ABC on January 27, 2010, but it was preempted by the State of the Union address and pushed back a week to February 3, 2010. The episode was written by Bill Wruber and directed by Jason Winer.

In the episode, Mitchell tries to offer his legal advice to Gloria after a car crash she was involved, believing that it was not her fault. Claire meets an old friend from work, Valerie, and thinks that Valerie pities her for leaving her job years back to raise her family. Claire wants to prove to her that she made the right decision. Jay and Cameron go to the gym to play racquetball but an incident in the locker room does not allow Jay to concentrate on the game.

The episode achieved a Nielsen rating of 3.9/10, attracting 9.07 million viewers and received positive reviews from critics.

Moon Landing (album)

Moon Landing is the fourth studio album by British singer-songwriter James Blunt. It was released on 18 October 2013 through Custard Records and Atlantic Records. The album is the follow-up to 2010's Some Kind of Trouble, making it Blunt's first new material in three years. The album features production from the likes of Tom Rothrock, Steve Mac, Guy Chambers and Steve Robson, and was executively produced by Tom Rothrock, who worked with Blunt on 2004's Back to Bedlam.

The first single from the album " Bonfire Heart" debuted at number six before peaking at number four the following week in the UK Singles Chart. The single peaked at one in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It was in the top 10 in different countries all over the world.

On 10 November 2014, the album was re-released as Moon Landing – Apollo Edition with five bonus tracks.
