Monome \Mon"ome\, n. [F., fr. Gr. mo`nos single + -nome as in binome. See Binomial.] (Math.) A monomial.
n. (context mathematics logic computing English) An expression with a single term, such as a product of numeric variables (with no addition) or a conjunction of possibly negated Boolean variables (with no disjunction).
Monome is a family of interface devices for computers made by an Upstate New York company of the same name. Brian Crabtree and his partner Kelli Cain are credited for Monome's creation.
