Monomaster
The monoMASTER1 is a fishing tool used by anglers to store waste nylon monofilament line (fishing line). Invented by Dr. Ian Alexander White and produced by Grasshopper Outdoor Products, Ltd the monoMASTER debuted at the Sommerset Flyfishing show in NJ in January 2008.
The monoMASTER offers an easy way for anglers to safely dispose of bits of fishing line which otherwise might end up entangling fish, birds, or other wildlife. For its contributions to environmental conservation the monoMASTER received an official endorsement from the Federation of Fly Fishers and from screenwriter Richard Friedenberg (A River Runs Through It)
