Monadelphia \Mon`a*del"phi*a\, n. pl. [NL., from Gr. mo`nos alone + 'adelfo`s brother.] (Bot.) A Linn[ae]an class of plants having the stamens united into a tube, or ring, by the filaments, as in the Mallow family.
