Mohana is a well known town in the Gajapati District. The Structure of the town is very beautiful as the residence is built up by the two rivers aside. It is named after two rivers: one from Lakhari valley and the other from a rural area. The main industry is based on agriculture. It has a police station. The Mohana town is known as a communal peace centre in Odisha. All Hindu, Muslims and Christians are very friendly to each other here. It is also a hill station as alike Daringbadi 70 km far from Mohana.
