Mobiflock

Mobiflock is a mobile safety and security technology company whose service is designed to offer parents and guardians peace of mind when their children are using smartphones and tablets. The service can be used for schools who wish to demonstrate a clear duty of care to protect students whilst on school property.

The service operates on Android, iOS and Blackberry smartphones and tablets. In April 2014 a Kindle Fire version is due for launch.

Increasingly the company is starting to use the brand name 'Mobile Guardian' to promote its product.

Parents looking to implement the service are encouraged to undertake a three-step process:

1. Install the app on the child's mobile device, then connect the device to the software through a browser. 2. Discuss with the child how the service will operate on their device and explain the potential dangers of accessing the Internet. 3. Manage the service through the dashboard
