Microichthys
Microichthys is a genus of very small deepwater cardinalfishes only known from the Strait of Messina in the Mediterranean Sea. The currently recognized species in this genus are:
- Microichthys coccoi Rüppell, 1852
- Microichthys sanzoi Spartà , 1950
