At this place River Godavari splits in two ways before joining Bay of Bengal. This place has rich fertile soil favorable for Crop Cultivation. This place is famous for its "Banana Market" and it tops Andhra Pradesh. Ravulapalem is often known as "Gateway of Konaseema" as it is the entrance town to the beautiful and scenic region Konaseema rich with paddy fields and coconut trees only rivalled by Kerala. Ubalanka, Kedarlanka, and Vedireswaram are the nearby villages connected to Ravulapalem. One can reach this place by bus from Rajahmundry nearly 30 km away. Many people visit nearby village Ryali to have Darshan of Lord Vishnu in Jaganmohini form. In this village secondary education is also available. In this village every year pongal after paddalankamma festival will be conducted by the village.
