Melstacorp Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC which is one of the 10 largest listed companies in the Colombo Stock Exchange. Melstacorp Limited has a Net asset value of USD 290 million and is the holding company of many subsidiaries and significant interests of the DCSL group including Sri Lanka's largest producer of Sugar and Ethanol Pelwatte Sugar Industries PLC, Periceyl Private Limited, Milford Holdings (Private) Limited, Melsta Logistics (Private) Limited, Melsta Technologies (Private) Limited, Melsta Properties (Private) Limited, Melsta Brands (Private) Limited, Melsta Regal Finance Limited, Belvantage (Private) Limited, Continental Insurance Lanka Limited Splendor Media (Private) Limited, Bogo Power (Private) Limited, Balangoda Plantations PLC, Melsta Tower (Private) Limited and Lanka Bell Limited.

Melstacorp owns 43.11 % of the issued capital of Aitken Spence & Co PLC a diversified conglomerate listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange and also owns 45.91% of the issued capital of Madulsima Plantations PLC.
