Matthew Patrick, known by his internet screen name MatPat, is an American actor, writer, and internet personality. He is best known as the creator and narrator of the YouTube webseries Game Theory, where he comments on the logic of video games as well as their scientific accuracy. He is also known for creating YouTube Red series MatPat's Game Lab and the spinoff Film Theory.
As of August 19, 2016, Patrick has amassed over 10.9 million subscribers and over 1.1 billion views over his three YouTube channels, with his main channel ("Game Theory") being the most subscribed.
On July 1, 2016, the game show The Runner starring Patrick premiered. The show is available on Go90 and is produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
