Markowa
Markowa (, Markova) is a village in Łańcut County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Markowa. It lies approximately south-east of Łańcut and east of the regional capital Rzeszów. The village has a population of 4,100; it was founded in the 14th century as Markhof by the descendants of Germans colonists.
