Manithan is a 1987 Indian Tamil language film directed by SP. Muthuraman, starring Rajinikanth, Rubini, Raghuvaran, Senthil, Delhi Ganesh, Srividya. The film received moderate reviews from the critics, however, it was declared as a blockbuster and completed 175-day run at the box office. It was dubbed in Telegu as Prabhanjanam.

Manithan (English: Man) is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language legal thriller film directed by I. Ahmed. The film features an ensemble cast, including Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hansika Motwani, Radha Ravi, Prakash Raj, and Vivek. Aishwarya Rajesh, Krishna Kumar, and Suraj play supporting roles. Based on Subhash Kapoor's Hindi film Jolly LLB (2013), the story—which revolves around a junior lawyer who, after a period of struggle and ridicule among colleagues, fights a case against a powerful supreme court lawyer—was slightly altered from a comedy-drama genre in the original to a drama-thriller theme. Manithan was released on 29 April 2016 to positive reviews.
