Manifest \Man"i*fest\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Manifested; p. pr. & vb. n. Manifesting.]

  1. To show plainly; to make to appear distinctly, -- usually to the mind; to put beyond question or doubt; to display; to exhibit.
