The Mandanr Mandar or Mandan original name is Umer is Pashtun tribe son of Mand and brother of Yousaf (Popular Yousafzai). Mandar are further divide the following main sub tribes.

MAGHDOOD KHEL are further divided into sub tribes BARA KHANKHEL DEGANKHEL ALADADKHEL YAHYAKHEL NORMALKHEL THESE tribes mostly living in the mardan district. Some of them like DEGAN KHEL are living in the district charsadda tehsil shabqader village khubai' mian essa & katozai . DEGAN KHEL are further divided into two other sub tribe that is MOHAMMAD KHEL & ISMAIL KHEL.
