Malachim was an alphabet published by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa in the 16th century. It is derived from Hebrew and Greek. Other alphabets with a similar origin are Celestial Alphabet and Transitus Fluvii.

"Malachim" is a plural form from Hebrew (מלאך, mal'ach), and means "angels" or "messengers", see Angels in Judaism.

The Malochim or Malukhim ("Malachim" in modern Hebrew pronunciation) (, lit. "angels") is a small Hasidic group with strong Monsey and Williamsburg connections. It adheres to the Chabad school of Hasidic thought which emphasizes in-depth Torah study, uses the Chabad nusach of prayer, and focuses on the study of Hasidic mysticism.
