What is "makazhoy"

Makazhoy(Russian: Макажой) is a clan( teip) which belongs to the Ch1eberloy tribe(tukhum).

Makazhoy people used to be fierce warriors, thus, up to this day the clan-members often refer to themselves as "Ma1 Makazho", "Ma1" is an ancient Chechen word which means "a dauntless warrior who fears neither death nor pain". Makazhoy lived near the eastern border of Chechnya so they were always the first to engage an enemy.
