Wikipedia Lyoathelia Lyoathelia is a fungal genus in the family Atheliaceae. The genus is monotypic, containing the single corticioid (crust-like) species Lyoathelia laxa. Originally found in Canada, it is now known to occur as well in the United States and Japan.
