Llangywer is a community in the county of Gwynedd, Wales, and is 98.3 miles (158.2 km) from Cardiff and 175.9 miles (283.0 km) from London. In 2011 the population of Llangywer was 253 with 67.2% of them able to speak Welsh. Notable people from the community include the poet Euros Bowen who was vicar of St. Cywair Church in the village, which is a Grade II listed building, now empty.
