Lipany
Lipany (, , ) is a town in the Sabinov District, Prešov Region in northeastern Slovakia.
Lipany (Vitice)
Lipany is a part of Vitice village in Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. It is located 40 km east of Prague and 7 km southeast of Český Brod. The population is 96 (2005).
Battle of Lipany took place between Lipany and Vitice on 30 May 1434.

Lipany (Cimrman)
Lipany was the name of a fictional theatrical group, created by the fictional Czech playwright/inventor and overall "genius" Jára Cimrman. It received its name from the Battle at Lipany, where the Bohemians obtained a devastating defeat.
