What is "laranjada"

Laranjada is a type of carbonated soft drink with an orange flavour, which is sold in bars, restaurants and supermarkets all over the island of Madeira. It is produced and distributed by the Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira, which is owned by the Pestana Group.

Laranjada is 14 years older than the famous Coca-Cola drink.
