Lapemis
Lapemis is a genus of sea snakes. It contains only two members:
- Shaw's sea snake, Lapemis curtus
- Spine-bellied sea snake, Lapemis hardwickii
In 1990 Voris and Gritis determined that these two species are not distinct.
Both members are very venomous, as with most sea snakes. They are found in the Indo-Pacific ocean.
