Lakhanwal Khas or simply Lakhanwal is a village in the district of Gujrat, Pakistan. Lakhanwal Khas is formed by the merger of two closely related villages Lakhanwal Kalan and Lakhanwal Khurd. Whereas Lankhanwal Kalan is located in the north, Lakhanwal Khurd is located in the south. These two villages are separated by Tanda Road and are collectively known as Lakhanwal.A great person Qari Muhammad yousaf has worked for religious purposes in both the villages at Madrissa Ghousia Rizvia, Lakhanwal.Darbar of Hazrat Burhan-ud-Din (Darbar Bawa Sahib) is a famous shrine in Lakhanwal Kalan at north side of the village. Mian Nazar Hussain was a great religious person of the village Lakhanwal Kalan.Ch. Sardar Khan Jalia was a famous person of the village.
