Labyrinthula is a genus of heterokont, comprising ten species.
Labyrinthula zosterae is a species associated with eelgrass ( Zostera marina), a pathogenic strain of which is believed to be the causative agent of a wasting disease which causes dieback and is threatening seagrass meadows.
