Kurwai is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Vidisha district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Kurwai (SC) Vidhan Sabha constituency (Hindi:कुरवाई विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is one of the 230 Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. This constituency came into existence in 1957, as one of the Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Madhya Pradesh state. This constituency is reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes since 1977, following the delimitation of the Legislative Assembly constituencies.
