Kuřim
Kuřim is a town in the district of Brno-countryside in South Moravian Region. It is situated 14 kilometers north-west of Brno and about 5 kilometers from the dam Brněnská přehrada. In 2011 there were 10 857 inhabitants. It is the largest town of Brno-Country district. There is a prison for convicted men aged 18 years and more on the outskirts of the town.
