KumkumEk Pyara Sa Bandhan (; English: A lovely bond) was a Daytime Indian television soap opera that aired on STAR Plus channel. It remains one of the longest running serials on Indian television with a total of 1449 episodes aired over seven years.

The show aired worldwide from Monday to Friday afternoons. Its final episode was broadcast on 13 March 2009.

It was the fourth longest running serial in india after Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kasauti Zindagi Kay.And it is also ranked 4 among most watched daily soaps on Indian television ever.

This era from 2000-2009 was the golden period on television. Kumkum was one of the most popular television serial at that time. And was a major TRP gainer for star plus at that time.

Kumkum, born Zaibunnissa, is an Indian film actress from Hussainabad in Bihar. She acted in almost 115 films in her career. She is best known for her roles in Mother India (1957), Son Of India (1962), Kohinoor (1960), Ujala, Naya Daur, Shreeman Funtoosh, '' Ek Sapera Ek Lutera'', Ganga Ki Laharen, Raja Aur Rank, Aankhen (1968), Lalkaar and Geet etc. She paired with many film heroes of her era and was popular in roles alongside Kishore Kumar.

Kumkum also acted in Bhojpuri films, starting with Ganga Maiyya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo (1963), which was also the first ever Bhojpuri film.
