Kuched is small village in the Jalalpur Taluka, Navsari district in the state of Gujarat, India. Kuched has a big oak tree that covers the entrance of the village and has since become the symbol of the village.
Eventually people from Kuched migrated outside of India and can be found all over the world. Many are successful businessmen and professionals. Funds were raised by the non residents for the benefit of the village and the surrounding areas. With the funds, residents of Kuched have been afforded free health care, and the services and medicines are completely free. Some of the funds were also used to build a water purification plant and to improve the local school. Kuched continues to evolve into the 21st Century.
The village enjoys all the modern facilities necessary for an ideal village. Prior to Independence in year 1947, Kuched was part of State of Gaikwad in the District of Navsari.
It is about 12 km Northwest of Navsari. Surat Airport is the nearest airport. Navsari Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
