KTMJ-CD, virtual and UHF digital channel 43, is a low-powered Fox- affiliated television station located in Topeka, Kansas, United States. The Class A-licensed station is owned by Media General, and is a sister station to NBC affiliate KSNT (channel 27); Media General also operates ABC affiliate KTKA-TV (channel 49) under shared services and joint sales agreements with owner Vaughan Media, LLC. All three stations share studio facilities located on Northwest 25th Street ( US 24), near the Kiro section of Topeka; KTMJ-CD maintains transmitter facilities located between the Kansas River and I-70/ US 40/ US 75/ KS 4 in Topeka.
On cable, KTMJ-CD is available on Cox Communications channel 6 in standard definition and digital channel 2006 in high definition, and on AT&T U-verse channel 43 in standard definition and channel 1043 in high definition.
Even though KTMJ-CD operates a digital signal of its own, the low-powered broadcasting radius does not reach the northern and eastern fringes of the Topeka market. Therefore, the station can also be seen through a standard definition simulcast on KSNT's second digital subchannel in order to reach the entire market. This signal can be seen on UHF channel 27.2 from its transmitter at the Northwest 25th Street studios. There is no separate website for the station; instead, it is integrated with that of sister station KSNT.
