Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training (KRIVET) is a national policy research organization under the Prime Minister's Office, founded with the Korean government's contribution in 1997 to support national human resources development policy and lifelong vocational competency development of Koreans. KRIVET is located in Chongdamdong, Gangnam in Seoul, Korea. Prof. Dr. Dae-Bong Kwon took office as the fifth president in September 2008.

KRIVET aims to establish an integrated system of linking education, employment and welfare by offering comprehensive policy plans
that combine education and labor market. It also strives to become a core HRD policy research institute that guide Korea as a
superpower in human resources by leading the research in national human resources policy, thereby supporting government's new
growth engine and green growth strategies.
