KQIE

KQIE is a commercial radio station in Redlands, California, broadcasting to the Riverside- San Bernardino, California area on 104.7 FM. The station airs a Rhythmic oldies music format owned by LC Media. Its studios are in San Bernardino and the transmitter tower is in Yucaipa, California.

The station debuted a Rhythmic contemporary format on 6 September 2010. It was previously licenced to Palm Springs, California until February 2010 as KDES. KQIE's previous Rhythmic Top 40 format was patterned after its sister station in Oxnard, California, KCAQ. During its five years in the format, the station simulcast KCAQ, but inserted local advertising and promotions that were customised for the area.

On February 12, 2015, KQIE flipped to Rhythmic oldies as "Old School 104.7," filling the void in the Inland Empire after the departures of KHHT/ Los Angeles six days earlier and KDEY's return to a simulcast of KDAY/ Redondo Beach in 2010.

On July 1, 2016, a signal swap in Ventura County enabled sister station KOCP to begin transmissions on 104.7 as well which, in effect, increased the 'Old School' format from the Inland Empire to the Ventura County area on 104.7 FM.
