Kotturpuram is a locality in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, India., Ace carnatic musicians (Late) Shri MS Subbulakshmi and {Late} Shri D.K. Pattammal have made the place proud. Former Indian cricket board chairman and SPIC founder AC Muthaiya lives here. The neighbourhood is served by Kotturpuram MRTS railway station. It has Abirami-sivagami hall for marriage functions and MAC Spin Cricket foundation Next to it. It has the best badminton court which attracts film personalities like Ajith & Shalini . This court is next to minister Durai murugan's house.

Centuries old temples such as Perumal Koil (around 1000 years) and Ponniamman Koil(around 400 years) are situated in Kottur.
