Khanote

Khanote is a village in Jamshoro District, Sindh province, Pakistan.

This village is famous in Sindh province due to the presence of coal mining companies area "Lakhra". It is located on the right bank of river Indus beside Indus Highway 45 kilometers away from Hyderabad to Sehwan. Its population is about 10,000. It is also the headquarters and big village of Union Council Mazoorabad.

It is the oldest village in Jamshoro District.
