KGGR is an AM urban contemporary gospel radio station that serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, airing only during the Daytime hours on AM 1040 because this station shares the same frequency with " clear channel" station WHO in Des Moines, Iowa. The station could be heard in and around Dallas over FM translator station K273BJ at 102.5 MHz 24 hours a day but that station began simulcasting KTNO 1440. The station has had its gospel format since 1990, and is owned by Mortenson Broadcasting. It's a sister station to KHVN.
