Kettik is an online blogging platform for travellers. The website started out as a personal project of its founder who wanted to create a blog for his own use. But overtime as the site developed, its founder decided to turn it into a collective platform where travelers can share their travel stories and explore those of others. All the content on Kettik is organised hierarchically by location, making it very easy for its readers to browse through and discover interesting travel content from the locations there are interested in.
The word 'Kettik', meaning 'Lets Go' is a Kazakh term used by the nomadic people living near the western borders of Mongolia. With its roots in the nomadic culture of the Kazak and Mongolian horsemen, the word perfectly captures the spirit of travel and adventure.
