What is "karmani"

Karmani is the most superior caste of Maheshwaris; who are known for their hard and great success in business, education, science, arts and medical. Majority of Karmani live in Mithi (Thar), while two well known families live in Umarkot, Sindh. Karmani family is very loyal and patriot towards their home country Pakistan, and they have been serving their motherland for centuries.

Mostly they speak Dhatki, Sindhi, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, English and Marwari. Their culture and norms are exactly same as Indus civilization; further they are known as peace-loving people. Late Ponam Sa (Bapu)and Late Kirshan Lal Karmani was the head of all Maheshwari community in Pakistan; who were famous because of their honesty and good governance.

Karmani is also surname in Sindhis who migrated from Pakistan.
